As a close partner from ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) – the largest AV systems integration show in the world – we ended up running the conference show for their first edition in Barcelona in 2021.

Case

As well as providing expert advice, Integrated Systems Europe runs large halls full of innovations catering to the whole spectrum of AV entertainment systems and technologies on offer. With more than 116,000 visitors for each of the past 16 editions, ISE decided to expand the event and moved to a new host city: Barcelona.

ISE is more than an exhibition. It features extensive conference and professional development programmes, main stage theatre, pre-show and at-show conferences, keynote speeches, off-site tech tours and networking opportunities. For this presential and digital edition expectations were high: top AV equipment and faultless stage direction for a coordinated conference show. We had to be creative, think about details and nail down a perfect plan for ISE to become the next big event in Barcelona.

As it was our first edition in a new city, it was great to have the reassurance and guidance of Iventions to take control at all times.

Work process

For this first edition in Barcelona, Integrated Systems Europe 2021, the leading global expo for AV and systems integration, decided to convert to a compact hybrid format in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Under these challenging and new circumstances our experienced and professional team turned into the essential partner to take some of the weight off the organisers’ shoulders.

Our innovative approach to event management allowed us to deliver a step change in value by redefining the traditional role of the supplier/contractor into that of a strategic partner – and that can be as creative as you want it to be. Iventions headed the technical direction of the Main Stage, including audiovisual planning and execution, stakeholder coordination, live show calling and floor management. Together with our team of highly experienced professionals and utilising top notch hardware, we ensured a flawless AV production. We also took care of the stage design and furniture lay-out, always offering our proven know-how in personalised event services, organisation, and planning with an unmatched level of dedication to every detail.

By leading the technical direction, design and execution of the Main Stage, we managed to offer our guests a fully hybrid event experience.
